In northeastern Nigeria, many families who fled conflict are now facing a severe hunger crisis. They live in crowded camps with little food and no safe way to return home. Food aid is running out because of a lack of funding, and soon, thousands of people may stop receiving help. Parents often go without food so their children can eat, but even that is not enough. Many children are already suffering from malnutrition and need special food to recover. Health centers that give this support may close if funds do not arrive soon. Families are left with hard choices, risk going hungry, or try to flee again. There are very few, and people earn too little to buy food. Life in the camps is hard, and many fear they may never return to a normal life. Without urgent help, the hunger crisis will get worse and affect many more people.
Almighty GOD, You are the GOD of Restoration. We plead Your divine intervention in the desolate land of Nigeria. Breathe Your Life once again into this land and rebuild the lives and livelihoods of all the Nigerians (The Holy Bible, Joel 2:25).
Pray for divine provision for the millions of people facing a severe hunger crisis in Nigeria. Pray for haven, food, clean drinking water, healthcare, etc., for all the people in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 57:1).
