Malaysian police have dismantled a major international drug trafficking syndicate operating across the country and using sea routes to smuggle drugs abroad. Ten suspects aged 29 to 70 were arrested during coordinated raids in Muar, Batu Pahat, and Cheras on July 21. Authorities seized 61.3kg of methamphetamine, 51.3g of ecstasy pills, and luxury items, totaling RM2.7 million in value. The syndicate had been active since October, using terrace houses to store drugs for distribution. Six suspects tested positive for drug use, and three had prior records involving drugs and firearms. Johor continues to be a hotspot for such activities due to its vulnerable sea borders.

Abba Father, thank You for the vigilance and success of law enforcement in stopping the spread of destruction. Protect our communities from the harm of drugs and deliver those trapped in addiction (The Holy Bible, Psalm 82:4).

Heavenly Father, expose the works of darkness and bring justice. Let truth and righteousness guide those in authority to protect the vulnerable. In Jesus’ name. Amen (The Holy Bible, Luke 8:17).
