EGYPT: The ERC and NACDW initiated their first aid convoy to Gaza following months of blockade. This convoy, called Zad Al-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza, included more than 100 trucks loaded with 1,200 tons of food supplies, which featured around 840 tons of flour and 450 tons of food baskets. The second convoy, organized by the Egyptian Red Crescent and the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, was redirected a few kilometers to the nearby Karm Abu Salem crossing, managed by Israel, for inspection before it could enter southern Gaza.
- Lord, we pray that the aid convoys reach the people in Gaza safely and that all involved in the delivery are protected. May the spirit of cooperation guide those facilitating the process (The Holy Bible, Psalm 121:7-8).
- Lord, we pray for the people of Gaza who are receiving this much-needed aid, that it brings not only physical nourishment but also hope and healing to those suffering (The Holy Bible, Philippians 4:19).
