PAKISTAN: In the past 48 hours, at least 13 individuals, including nine children, have lost their lives and three others have been injured due to incidents related to monsoon rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the provincial disaster management authority. The PDMA has already issued a letter to all district administrations urging them to implement precautionary measures in light of the weather conditions and has instructed that relief efforts be ramped up in the affected areas to offer immediate assistance to all victims.
