A Bangladesh Air Force jet crashed into Milestone College in Uttara around 1:30 PM, killing at least 19 people and injuring 164 others. The plane had taken off shortly after 1:00 PM. Many students and teachers were trapped and injured in the crash. Emergency services, including the army and fire department, rushed to the scene to rescue victims. Hospitals nearby received many injured, especially those with severe burns. Several students were carried out by rescuers, and some were taken to burn units in serious condition. The rescue operation involved both college staff and military personnel. The government has declared a one-day state mourning day following the crash of Air Force aircraft at Milestone College in Dhaka’s Uttara.
