Indonesia: Indonesia’s National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) announced that 42 victims have been retrieved from the Tunu Pratama Jaya ferry, which capsized in the waters off Bali. The ferry was carrying 65 individuals, as per the passenger list. The agency stated that efforts to locate the remaining 23 passengers are still underway, utilizing underwater cameras. Sea rescue teams in the southern area and land teams along the coastline have not discovered any more victims. The ferry sank while heading to Gilimanuk Port in Bali.
- Lord, we pray for the families and loved ones of the victims who are affected by the tragedy of the ferry capsizing. May God’s comfort and peace rest on them during this difficult time (The Holy Bible, Psalms 94:19).
- Lord, we pray for the safety of the rescue teams as they continue their search for the remaining passengers. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance as they utilize technology and resources to locate those still missing (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 58:11).
