Many families say they cannot save money and often worry about the cost of living. The government is trying to help by making plans to support poor families and create more jobs. Even with progress, poverty is still a serious problem in some parts of the country. More work is needed to make sure all people in Morocco can live better and have equal chances, no matter where they live.
LORD, we pray for the people of Morocco, suffering poverty, help them to break free from the cycle of poverty and economic insecurity. LORD, provide them with opportunities to improve their lives and livelihoods (The Holy Bible, Psalm 34:6).
Pray for divine wisdom for the authorities to implement effective, region-specific policies that lead to lasting change in the lives of the people suffering financial insecurity in Morocco (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 3:5-6).
