The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army carried out the sixth medical evacuation of child patients from Gaza on Wednesday, transporting 23 children and 47 family members under the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative. Nineteen of the children will receive care in Jordanian private hospitals, while four will be sent to Turkiye for treatment, with the support of seven family members. The operation was conducted in collaboration with Jordan’s Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO). Since the initiative’s launch in March 2025, a total of 77 children and 169 family members have been evacuated by land and air for urgent medical care. Jordan remains committed to expanding medical evacuations from Gaza, despite facing technical, logistical, and Israeli-imposed constraints. The initiative reflects the Kingdom’s humanitarian mission and steadfast support for the people of Gaza, following directives from King Abdullah II.
Abba Father, we lift up the children evacuated from Gaza. Wrap them in Your healing love and bring restoration to their bodies and peace to their hearts. Strengthen their families with hope and courage during this difficult time (The Bible, Jeremiah 30:17).
Lord, we thank You for the compassion shown through Jordan’s efforts. We pray for continued access, coordination, and favor in overcoming obstacles so more children may receive life-saving care. Let doors open for mercy to flow freely( The Bible, Psalm 82:4).
