Morocco has been facing a very long and serious drought for more than six years. Rain has been much lower than normal, with only about half the usual amount falling. This has caused big problems. Water in dams is running low, and many reservoirs are almost empty. Farmers are struggling because there is not enough water for crops or animals. Grass has stopped growing, so they cannot feed their sheep and cows. Many animals have died or been sold. Food prices have gone up because farms are producing less. The king of Morocco even asked people not to kill sheep during Eid to help save livestock. The government is trying to fix the problem by building water pipes, using seawater after cleaning it, and moving water from one place to another. Still, experts say that more needs to be done, or Morocco will keep facing these water problems in the future.

Abba Father, we pray and seek Your face for mercy and healing. LORD, forgive the sins of the people of Morocco and heal their land. Bless the people and their land to be restored, in the Mighty Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen (The Holy Bible, 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Pray for wise counsel for the authorities to tackle the drought and water scarcity in Morocco. Pray for divine provision for all the families during this time of uncertainty. Pray for improved agricultural practices, food security, and economic stability in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 118:25).
