Lebanese President Joseph Aoun asked the United States for help to bring peace and stability to southern Lebanon. He wants Israeli forces to leave the five hills they control and stop all hostile actions. Aoun said Lebanon will increase its army in the south to 10,000 soldiers to enforce UN Resolution 1701, which supports disarming militias and keeping weapons only with official security forces. However, Israel’s control of certain areas makes this difficult. Talks are happening about disarming Palestinian refugees in camps, but progress depends on the regional situation. Hezbollah responded to US threats against Iran’s leader by warning the US about serious consequences. Hezbollah stands strongly with Iran against Israeli and US aggression. Iran’s embassy in Lebanon said any Iranian military response would be careful and limited, but blamed the US for fully supporting Israel’s actions against Iran. Lebanon is working to improve security but faces challenges due to ongoing conflicts in the region.

Pray for the success of the efforts of the government to improve the security and peace in Lebanon, especially in southern Lebanon. Pray for divine peace to prevail in the nation as well as in the region (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 11:14).

Pray against Hezbollah’s involvement in the ongoing conflicts in the region. Pray for peace and friendly relations between Lebanon and its neighboring countries. (The Holy Bible, Job 5:13).
