Israel and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire after weeks of fighting. The ceasefire was announced yesterday and is still holding as of today. Both sides say they will keep the peace if the other side does the same. U.S. President Donald Trump described the truce as going “very well,” though he also expressed frustration at both sides during the initial implementation. The U.S. intelligence community reports that American airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities only delayed the program by a few months, countering earlier statements suggesting those sites were obliterated. In Israel, daily life is cautiously returning to normal as wartime restrictions are eased, while in Gaza, the military’s attention shifts back to longer-standing tensions. Iran has warned that it may speed up its nuclear program, which is causing worry. Despite the fragile calm, the situation is still tense in the region.

Praise GOD for answering our prayers for a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. Pray for the wise counsel of the authorities of both countries to find a peaceful solution to end the conflict between them (The Holy Bible, Psalm 65:2).

Pray for political stability in the Middle East region. Pray for the peaceful and harmonious coexistence of people in the region. Pray for divine peace and protection for all the innocent civilians in the region (The Holy Bible, 2 Chronicles 7:14).
