North Korea plans to send thousands of workers and soldiers to help rebuild Russia’s war-damaged Kursk region, according to Russian security chief Sergei Shoigu. Around 10,000 North Koreans, including builders, military brigades, and deminers, will be sent as “fraternal assistance,” Shoigu said after meeting Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang. South Korea and the U.S. quickly condemned the move, calling it a violation of UN sanctions. The U.S. warned that North Korea is trading labor and soldiers for money and possibly Russian military technology. Reports suggest thousands of North Korean soldiers are already in Russia, with hundreds killed. North Korea and Russia confirmed the troop presence in April, deepening concerns about illegal cooperation. Analysts believe North Korea seeks economic aid and military gains. Despite international criticism, Pyongyang continues to support Russia’s war in Ukraine, promising “unconditional” backing. Russia and North Korea have also signed a mutual defense treaty, strengthening their alliance.
Pray for the Holy Spirit of GOD to reveal the secret agendas of the leaders of North Korea and Russia. Pray for the LORD to cut all the illegal cooperation between the two nations (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 10:3).
Pray against the labor and soldiers trade between North Korea and Russia. Pray for divine protection for all the innocent North Koreans forced to move to Russia. Pray for the safe return of all the North Koreans who are forced to work abroad by the North Korean government (The Holy Bible, Psalm 22:11).
