Yemen is facing a severe crisis with ongoing division, economic collapse, and great human suffering. The UN’s Special Envoy, Hans Grundberg, warned that the country cannot endure more years of this struggle and called for urgent political progress. Nearly half of Yemen’s population, over 17 million people, are suffering from severe malnutrition, and without continued humanitarian aid, millions more could face extreme food shortages. The economy is in freefall, causing huge hardships for Yemeni citizens. Despite tough conditions, humanitarian efforts continue, but are not enough to meet the huge needs. There are some positive signs, like the reopening of a key road between Aden and Sana’a, which helps people and trade. The UN is pushing for peace talks, a ceasefire, and the release of detained aid workers by the Houthi group. The situation remains fragile with risks of renewed fighting.

In the Mighty and Marvelous Name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, we say to the nation of Yemen and its people, ‘Live!’ Amen (The Holy Bible, Ezekiel 16:6).

Pray for political stability in Yemen. Pray for divine provision of food, clean drinking water, healthcare, and other basic needs and rights for all the Yemeni families (The Holy Bible, Psalm 121:1-2).

Pray for the immediate release and safe return of all the imprisoned humanitarian aid workers in Yemen. Pray for divine protection upon all the aid workers and all the innocent civilians in the country (The Holy Bible, 2 Kings 17:39).
