Iran and Israel have exchanged deadly attacks for the third straight day, killing dozens and injuring hundreds. Iranian missile strikes hit Israeli cities, killing at least ten people and wounding 200, while Israeli strikes killed 78 in Iran. Targets included military bases, nuclear sites, air defences, and oil depots, raising fears of a wider war. Yemen’s Iran-backed Huthis also launched missiles at Israel, expanding the conflict regionally. Iran suspended nuclear talks after Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities, accusing Israel of undermining diplomacy. World leaders, including Trump and Putin, called for de-escalation, but tensions remain dangerously high. The growing violence has raised fears of a wider regional war involving multiple Middle Eastern nations.
Abba Father, we pray for the people of Israel and Iran, and all innocent lives caught in this conflict. Let Your peace reign where violence now rules. Break the cycle of retaliation, and raise up voices of wisdom and reconciliation. Shield the vulnerable and bring healing to the wounded. Let Your power bring calm where fear now lives. Amen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 46:9).
Pray for divine protection upon all the innocent Iranian civilians from airstrikes. May talks resume, and may hearts be turned from war to peace. Let God’s truth guide all negotiations and His hand protect those working for a peaceful solution (The Holy Bible, Matthew 5:9).
