Country Information

Sudan has moved to 5th position in the Persecution Watch List for 2025 by Open Doors USA. Sudan is spiraling downhill with civil war, starvation, cholera, and horrible abuse by both sides of the warring factions. There is no concrete international intervention from the global community. The only countries getting involved are weapon suppliers. The greed of men is costing lives and displacing thousands of people. The outbreak of cholera complicated the situation, and international aid agencies are finding it challenging to navigate through war zones without any actual safe conduct.
