WESTERN SAHARA: The Sahrawi Observatory for Children and Women in Occupied El Aaiun has firmly criticized the Moroccan occupation’s efforts to erase the national and cultural identity of Sahrawi children living in the occupied areas of Western Sahara. These actions aim to normalize the situation of occupation and push people to accept it. The Observatory emphasized its dedication to continuously monitoring and recording all types of violations against Sahrawi children and women, as well as bringing these issues to the attention of international human rights organizations. It highlighted that honoring the dignity of Sahrawi children is a real measure of the international community’s commitment to justice.

  • Lord, we pray for the protection of Sahrawi children and women from oppression and violations of their rights. Ask God to intervene on their behalf and bring justice to their situation (The Holy Bible, Psalm 82:3-4).
  • Lord, we pray that the international community becomes aware of the plight of Sahrawi children and women and takes action to support their dignity and rights (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 31:8-9).
