EGYPT: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán praised Egypt’s efforts in fighting illegal migration during his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Egypt. Orbán expressed his gratitude to Egypt for accommodating about 10 million refugees and displaced individuals from war-torn areas. He also emphasized Egypt’s important role in promoting peace and stability in both the Middle East and Africa.
The talks centered on cooperation between the two countries, covering important areas as well as the relationship between Egypt and Europe. They also discussed the situation in Ukraine, with Orbán sharing his views on the ongoing efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict. President El-Sisi highlighted the unique relationship Egypt has with both Russia and Ukraine, reaffirming Egypt’s dedication to supporting a peaceful outcome that would end the war and foster lasting peace and stability.
- Lord, we pray that God will continue to bless Egypt for its compassion in hosting millions of refugees and strengthen its government and people to keep showing mercy, wisdom, and stability amid regional challenges.
