How do you “fish for men” in a closed Muslim country? Open evangelism can lead to imprisonment or death in most Muslim countries of the 10/40 Window. Yet Christ tells us to reach every tribe, tongue, and nation, no matter the cost. Today’s technology offers evangelistic and discipleship options that weren’t possible 25 years ago. One can now use social media like Facebook and Instagram to reach people anonymously.
A team of workers in Egypt is learning how to produce and use social media tools and apps. Two months ago, they launched a new app that offered an evangelistic video about the life of Jesus for spiritually hungry people and secret Muslim background believers. Soon, they might have Egyptian Christian Believers join them in this harvest.
Let us pray fervently for:
- Many to watch the video and learn more about Christ’s saving blood (The Bible, 1 John 1:7).
- Pray for local workers to help discipling those who respond (The Bible, Colossians 1:28-29).
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to bring a Christ-centered revival to Egypt’s churches (The Bible, Acts 1:1-2).
