Tibet: Sikyong visited the esteemed London School of Economics (LSE) for an engaging session with Tibetan youth, where he underscored Tibet’s global significance. He pointed out its geopolitical relevance, environmental importance, the Sino-Tibetan conflict, and its cultural heritage based on non-violence and compassion. He remarked that Tibet’s strategic position in the center of Asia makes it a vital geopolitical area, and its expansive plateau is often called the “Roof of the World” by researchers due to its high altitude and environmental impact throughout Asia. “Tibet is not just significant for Tibetans; it holds importance for the entire world. Its central location in Asia highlights its undeniable geopolitical value.
