ALGERIA: Mr. Khatri Adouh, a member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front and the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Algeria, met with Mr. Mohsen, the President of the Algerian Youth Organization. They discussed the strong ties between the Sahrawi and Algerian peoples, especially focusing on youth issues. They also looked at ways to enhance and grow these relationships in various areas. During their discussion, the Algerian youth group showed its support for the Sahrawi cause. They expressed their willingness to help Sahrawi youth by organizing joint events, programs, and activities aimed at raising awareness about the Sahrawi situation. The ambassador shared information with the Algerian youth delegation about the challenges faced by Sahrawi youth living in occupied territories. He explained how they endure harsh treatment and ongoing violations from Moroccan security forces, including harassment and surveillance in Western Sahara’s occupied areas.
- Pray for God’s protection over Sahrawi youth, especially those living in occupied territories. Ask the Lord to strengthen them amid harassment, surveillance, and violations, and to bring justice, dignity, and peace to their lives (The Holy Bible, Psalm 9).
- Pray for wisdom, compassion, and purpose to guide the growing relationship between Sahrawi and Algerian youth. Ask God to bless joint programs, events, and advocacy efforts so they may raise awareness, promote peace, and empower young people to be agents of positive change (The Holy Bible, Ecclesiastes 4:9).
