Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi chaired the Arab Ministerial Committee meeting at the Arab League headquarters, focused on confronting Israel’s illegal policies in occupied Jerusalem. He also participated in the 164th ordinary session of the Arab League Council, handing over the presidency to the UAE. The session addressed the Palestinian cause, Israeli aggression on Gaza, and support for Palestinians, while also discussing regional crises in Sudan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, and Somalia. Other topics included Arab economic integration, cooperation with international organizations, climate change, and enhancing counter-terrorism efforts.
