This choice comes at a time when Algeria is experiencing concerning levels of land being turned into artificial spaces, which puts its food security and agricultural health at risk. During the meeting, Tebboune instructed ministers to cease the conversion of farmland into construction sites, emphasizing the significance of preservation policies.
