He pointed out the difficulties and urgent funding needs that the Maldives and other Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are facing and offered suggestions for solutions.
Dr. Muizzu’s trip to the United Kingdom, at King Charles III’s invitation, revitalizes the Maldives’ push for fair and effective sustainable finance to boost climate resilience. This meeting is a significant step in global efforts to connect public goals with private investments.
