KUWAIT: The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) has sent 1,035 individuals to the Public Prosecution in 2025 due to suspicions of corruption-related activities, illegal profits, and breaches of financial disclosure rules. Nazaha explained that these referrals result from cases involving suspected corruption, unlawful enrichment, incorrect financial disclosure statements, or not filing disclosures on time as required by law. The authority emphasized that these actions are part of its ongoing efforts to protect public funds, strengthen integrity, and promote transparency in government institutions, according to reports from Al-Qabas daily. Nazaha also stated that its actions align with the state’s larger plan to build public trust, safeguard national resources, and uphold the rule of law. They urged everyone involved to follow disclosure requirements and ethical standards closely.

  • Lord, we pray that righteousness, integrity, and the fear of God will prevail among public officials. Strengthen institutions fighting corruption, and let truth and justice expose every hidden wrongdoing, so public resources are protected and used for the good of all (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 29:2).
  • Father, we ask that all leaders and public servants walk in honesty and accountability. Restore public trust, guide prosecutors and investigators with wisdom, and let ethical standards be upheld across all government institutions (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 10:9).
