MALI: Mali’s military government is having a hard time lifting a blockade on fuel set by jihadists, as discussions with militants connected to al-Qaeda move slowly. This situation has led to shortages of petrol and rising anger among the public. Negotiations between Malian negotiators and the jihadists have been happening, but so far they have not made any progress. Mali is facing pressure to resolve the fuel crisis as talks with the jihadists remain stuck.
- Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention in the negotiations between the Malian government and the jihadist groups. Grant wisdom, patience, and understanding to all parties involved, that they may find a peaceful resolution to the fuel blockade and restore stability to the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 37:28).
- Lord, we pray for Your protection over the people of Mali during this time of crisis. May those who are suffering from fuel shortages experience Your provision and comfort. Strengthen the community and help them to support one another in love and unity (The Holy Bible, Luke 6:27).
