INDONESIA: The Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Ministry urged that rules and oversight of daycare centers be improved after a reported incident of aggressive behavior towards a young child at a daycare in Surabaya. The minister highlighted that this situation is a reminder to enhance regulations, standardize practices, and supervise daycare centers to stop similar events from happening again.
