WEST BANK: In the occupied West Bank, OCHA reported that violence is continuing due to the olive harvest season, which started on October 9. There have been over 85 attacks by settlers on Palestinian farmers and their land, disrupting the harvest, injuring more than 110 people, and damaging over 3,000 trees in 50 villages. Last week alone, there were 17 recorded attacks, mostly in the Ramallah area. OCHA stated, “These ongoing incidents have harmed livelihoods and increased fears among farming communities.” Even with aid coming in, the UN warns that Gaza still faces serious humanitarian needs, as families struggle with a critical lack of food, water, and shelter while trying to return home.

  • Lord, we pray for God’s divine protection over Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season. Ask the Lord to bring justice and peace amid violence, that those who work the land may do so without fear or harm (The Holy Bible, Psalm 20:1).
  • Lord, we pray that humanitarian aid will reach every family in need and that God will restore hope and provide food, clean water, and shelter for those suffering. Ask for peace and rebuilding in the hearts and homes of all affected (The Holy Bible, Psalm 57:1).
