EGYPT: The main committee of the Egyptian Cabinet that focuses on legalizing churches and their service buildings approved 160 churches and service buildings during its meeting. This decision increases the total number of legalized churches and related buildings to 3,621 since the committee started working in January 2017. The meeting also reviewed the progress of churches that had already received approval, showing the committee’s dedication to making sure all legalization requirements are fulfilled.
