DJIBOUTI: The Chairman of the Coast Guard Authority, Maj. General Khalid al-Qamali, met with his Djiboutian counterpart, Colonel Wa’is Omar, to discuss working together on maritime security. They talked about fighting organized crime, stopping all kinds of smuggling, and protecting navigation in the western Gulf of Aden, Bab el-Mandeb, and southern Red Sea areas. Both leaders stressed the need to cooperate and share information to tackle security issues in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden so that international navigation remains safe.

May their discussions lead to effective strategies in combating organized crime and smuggling, ensuring safety for all who navigate the waters of the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 27:17).
