DJIBOUTI: The Chairman of the Coast Guard Authority, Maj. General Khalid al-Qamali, met with his Djiboutian counterpart, Colonel Wa’is Omar, to discuss working together on maritime security. They talked about fighting organized crime, stopping all kinds of smuggling, and protecting navigation in the western Gulf of Aden, Bab el-Mandeb, and southern Red Sea areas. Both leaders stressed the need to cooperate and share information to tackle security issues in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden so that international navigation remains safe.

  • Lord, we pray for fruitful collaboration between the Coast Guard authorities of the respective nations. May their discussions lead to effective strategies in combating organized crime and smuggling, ensuring safety for all who navigate the waters of the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 27:17).
  • Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over the navigation routes in the western Gulf of Aden, Bab el-Mandeb, and southern Red Sea. May peace prevail in the region, and may the efforts to share information and cooperate against security threats be blessed, ensuring safe passage for international vessels (The Holy Bible, Exodus 14:14).
