TIBET: The Tibetan Youth Leadership Program is a part of ICT’s Lodi Gyari Tibetan Empowerment Program. This program includes various efforts to support Tibetans in maintaining their traditions, safeguarding their heritage, and advocating for their rights. TYLP aims to provide talented students with the political skills necessary as they grow into the future leaders of Tibetan Americans. The program blends advocacy, cultural experiences, and personal and professional growth, helping participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Tibet’s importance in the world—an essential element of leadership in any area today.
- Lord, we pray for the participants of the Tibetan Youth Leadership Program. Grant them wisdom and courage as they learn and grow, equipping them to become effective leaders for their community. May they seek your guidance in their advocacy efforts and remain steadfast in their commitment to preserving their heritage (The Holy Bible, Jeremiah 29:11).
- Lord, we pray for the Tibetan community and the efforts to safeguard their traditions and rights. May the youth involved in this program find strength in their identity and a passion for advocating for their people.
