MONGOLIA: The Prime Minister of Mongolia, Zandanshatar Gombojav, visited the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. Children represent more than a third of Mongolia’s population, so the medical team at the center faces a big workload to care for them. As a result, the Emergency Department treats between 8,000 and 10,000 children every month. There are currently limits on funding for treating long-term childhood illnesses, but efforts are expected soon to improve financing in a way that better supports children.

  • Lord, we pray that the government and relevant organizations will find effective solutions to improve funding for the treatment of long-term childhood illnesses in Mongolia. May resources be allocated wisely to ensure every child receives the care they need (The Holy Bible, Philippians 4:19).
  • Lord, we pray for the medical team at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health as they care for thousands of children each month. May God grant them strength, wisdom, and compassion as they work tirelessly to heal and support these young lives (The Holy Bible, Psalm 91:4).
