Mongolia: The state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, continues following his arrival at the invitation of Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Mongolia.
Together with their wives, L.Bolortsetseg (wife of President U.Khurelsukh) and Z.Mirziyoyeva (wife of President Mirziyoyev), the two heads of state planted a memorial tree at the Ikh Tenger Complex. This symbolic gesture represents the friendship between the peoples of Mongolia and Uzbekistan. The two leaders also agreed to coordinate the implementation of Uzbekistan’s “Green Nation” project and Mongolia’s “Billion Trees” national movement. This collaboration is aimed at making a joint contribution to global efforts to combat climate change and desertification and to protect the environment.
- Lord, we pray that the partnership between Uzbekistan and Mongolia on environmental initiatives such as the “Green Nation” project and “Billion Trees” national initiative will bear fruit. May their efforts inspire other nations to engage in responsible stewardship of the earth, combating climate change and promoting sustainable practices (The Holy Bible, Psalm 24:1-2).
- Lord, we pray for the strengthening of diplomatic ties and friendship between Uzbekistan and Mongolia, as symbolized by the planting of the memorial tree. May their collaboration lead to mutual support and unity in addressing global challenges, fostering peace and understanding among all nations (The Holy Bible, Psalm 133:1).
