LIBYA: The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has declared that anti-scorpion venom serum is now available across the country. Hospitals and health centers throughout Libya are distributing this serum. This news arrives as southern Libya sees an increase in scorpion stings with the arrival of summer, following earlier shortages of antivenom in local hospitals and rural clinics.
- Lord, we pray for the health and safety of individuals in southern Libya, especially with the increase in scorpion stings. May the newly available anti-scorpion venom serum provide effective healing for those affected and prevent further harm from stings.
