Kuwait: The airspace around the country has been reopened. The General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced that Kuwait’s airspace is now open and normal air traffic operations at Kuwait International Airport have resumed. This decision was made after close coordination with relevant Kuwaiti authorities and ongoing collaboration with regional and international partners, following confirmation of the stability and safety of the airspace. The DGCA reiterated its commitment to upholding the highest safety and security standards in Kuwaiti airspace. The reopening follows comprehensive evaluations carried out by specialized teams in partnership with local and international experts.

  • Lord, we pray for the safety and security of all travelers and air traffic operations in Kuwait as the airspace reopens. May all aviation authorities continue to work diligently to maintain the highest standards of safety and ensure a smooth operation (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 18:10).
  • Lord, we pray for ongoing collaboration and communication between local and international partners in aviation. May their efforts lead to sustained stability and security in the region, fostering trust and cooperation in air travel (The Holy Bible, Psalm 133:1).
