In the last two years, the government has worked harder to create strategies for environmental sustainability, following the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Kuwait is now the second country in the Gulf to introduce this kind of strategy. The nation aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, emphasizing the importance of diversifying energy sources, boosting renewable energy use, switching from fossil fuels to natural gas, and using waste to promote environmental sustainability.
