KUWAIT: Kuwait is making environmental issues a key focus in its national plans and future programs. In the last two years, the government has worked harder to create strategies for environmental sustainability, following the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Kuwait is now the second country in the Gulf to introduce this kind of strategy. The nation aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, emphasizing the importance of diversifying energy sources, boosting renewable energy use, switching from fossil fuels to natural gas, and using waste to promote environmental sustainability.
- Lord, we pray for the leaders and decision-makers in Kuwait as they develop and implement strategies for environmental sustainability. Grant them wisdom and discernment to prioritize actions that protect the environment and promote responsible stewardship of natural resources. May their efforts lead to a healthier planet for future generations (The Holy Bible, Psalm 24:1).
- Lord, we pray for Your guidance as Kuwait strives to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. Inspire innovation in the use of renewable energy sources and the transition away from fossil fuels. Help the nation to embrace sustainable practices that honor Your creation and reflect a commitment to environmental care (The Holy Bible, Genesis 1:3).
