Jordan’s Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani strongly condemned repeated settler attacks on humanitarian aid convoys bound for Gaza, the latest involving 30 trucks blocked and stoned, causing damage to four vehicles. He criticized Israeli authorities for failing to prevent such incidents, calling them violations of international law. This was the second attack in a week, adding to mounting logistical hurdles faced by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), including complex applications, long inspections, restricted border hours, and new customs fees of $300–$400 per truck since July 10. While Jordan continues to conduct airdrops with international partners, Momani stressed that they cannot replace the importance of safe and efficient land convoys.

Abba Father, shield all humanitarian workers and drivers from violence and danger as they bring relief to those in desperate need (The Holy Bible, Psalm 121:7).

Lord, move the hearts of leaders to uphold justice, prevent lawlessness, and protect the passage of life-saving aid (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 1:17).
