Iraq and Oman signed two agreements and 24 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) during Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani’s visit to Oman. The accords cover a wide range of sectors, including taxation, visa waivers, legal and judicial cooperation, tourism, education, housing, media, banking, energy, oil, industry, ports, and logistics. They also include plans for joint projects such as a smart city in Karbala. The agreements reflect both nations’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding regional cooperation.

Abba Father, we pray that the cooperation between Iraq and Oman brings peace, stability, and prosperity to their people. Lord, grant wisdom and integrity to the leaders of Iraq and Oman as they make decisions that affect their nations (The Holy Bible, Ecclesiastes 4:9).

Lord, may these agreements bring opportunities, jobs, and peace, and may both countries grow in unity and goodwill (The Holy Bible, Psalm 85:12).
