Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned Tehran would abandon restraint in any new war with Israel. He said future conflicts would expand to new geographic areas and possibly economic and political arenas. Ghalibaf stressed that Iran’s military had corrected weaknesses exposed in June’s 12-day war. He pointed to recent naval missile drills as a deterrent signal against Israeli “miscalculation.” His remarks follow Israeli warnings that another round of conflict with Iran may be imminent. Former Israeli officer Jacques Neriah said Tehran cannot tolerate the “humiliation” of its June setback. Iran’s defense minister Aziz Nasirzadeh claimed a new generation of missiles now surpasses those used in June. He emphasized that Iran’s forces relied solely on domestic systems during the last conflict. Nasirzadeh argued that Israeli defenses, including US-supplied systems, failed to stop most Iranian strikes. He claimed interception rates fell during the war, showing Iran’s growing capability and Israel’s weakening defense.

Abba Father, bring peace between Iran and Israel. Stop the fighting before it begins and help people live without fear. Lord, keep the children, families, and innocent people safe. Protect them from harm and give them hope (The Holy Bible, Psalm 34:14).

Lord, in the name of Jesus, we declare peace over Iran and Israel. We speak wisdom over leaders that they will choose peace, not war. We cancel the plans of destruction and call forth Your kingdom of peace (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 54:17).
