Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya al-Zindani accused Iran-backed Houthi militias of blocking UN peace efforts led by envoy Hans Grundberg. He said the Houthis want to keep the war going and reject peace, encouraged by Iran. The Yemeni government supports peace initiatives, but the Houthis refuse them. Zindani warned that Iran smuggles weapons like drones and missiles to the Houthis, worsening the conflict. He criticized the international community for not stopping these arms shipments. Yemen recently seized a shipment of drones and military gear, possibly from China, and will investigate. The Yemeni government values its strong ties with Saudi Arabia, which supports Yemen with aid and development help. Zindani said military action against the Houthis will continue as long as the country faces threats. He called the Houthis a narrow-minded group with no real political plan, driven by sectarian beliefs. The government remains open to peace but expects new UN resolutions to hold the Houthis accountable.
Pray for the Holy Spirit of GOD to reveal the secret agendas of the leaders of the Yemeni Houthis and Iran. Pray for the LORD to cut all the illegal cooperation between them (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 10:3).
Pray for the perpetrators behind all the violence against innocent civilians and the peace of the nation to be made accountable for their evil acts. Pray for justice and peace to prevail in Yemen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 140:12).
Pray for the extremists in Yemen to encounter the Love of GOD in supernatural ways. Pray for the untransformed hearts of the evildoers to perish by the breadth of the LORD’s anger. Let the roaring violence against the innocent people in the country be broken, in Jesus’s Mighty Name (The Holy Bible, Job 4:9-10).
