In Yemen, years of conflict have buried numerous explosive devices in the ground, threatening lives, particularly children. Humanitarian groups are supporting awareness sessions that teach people how to remain safe. The sessions educate families on how to identify and report harmful objects, preventing death and injury. Between March and May 2025, more than 81,000 individuals were reached by campaigns in areas where the conflict had a severe impact. Along with safety education, assistance is also provided to injured children. One center in Sana’a offers prosthetic limbs, and many children can walk, play, and go back to school. Some children lost limbs from buried explosives, inflicting intense emotional and physical trauma. With new limbs and rehabilitation, many children are finding confidence and hope again. The situation in Yemen is still challenging, with an ongoing threat from explosive remnants. But with continued care, treatment, and education, families are gradually rebuilding their lives and safeguarding their children.

Praise GOD for the awareness programs by the humanitarian groups to protect people, especially children, from the unexploded weapons in Yemen. Pray for continued support and education to reach all the people of Yemen promptly. (The Holy Bible, Matthew 25:40).

Pray for divine protection upon all Yemeni people, especially children, from dangerous unexploded weapons. Pray for the LORD’s healing power upon them to heal them physically and psychologically (The Holy Bible, Exodus 15:26).
