Hezbollah used the recent Teachers’ Union conference in South Lebanon to spread its views, praising its role in education and defending its weapons. Speakers claimed Lebanon’s education system depends more on Hezbollah than the government. Hezbollah controls parts of both public and private education and also runs its own schools. Its education wing is led by the Executive Council and includes two key groups: the Educational Recruitment Organization (EAH), which runs the Teachers’ Union and promotes a mix of education, religion, and jihad; and the Islamic Religious Education Association (AIRE), which supports Shia Islamic teachings in schools. Hezbollah also runs its own Al-Mahdi school network and the Imam Mahdi Scouts. These institutions aim to recruit talented students for future military roles. The overall goal is to build loyalty to Hezbollah, train youth in its ideology, and prepare them for what it calls the coming “Imam Mahdi state.”
Pray against Hezbollah’s political influence and indoctrination in Lebanon. Pray for the Salvation of the key leaders of Hezbollah in the country (The Holy Bible, Acts 28:7-10).
Pray for divine wisdom and protection upon all the youth population in Lebanon, from indoctrination and evildoers. Pray for the LORD to raise Deborahs, Baraks, and Gideons among the Lebanese youth to fight for their rights and freedom (The Holy Bible, Judges 6:14).
Pray for the LORD’s intervention in the region to destroy all the extremist groups and their evil agenda against the innocent civilians and nations (The Holy Bible, Nehemiah 4:20).
