The draft of the AI Ethics Guidelines highlights these ethical values, which are important because they remind AI developers that their work affects basic human rights during the development, use, and implementation of AI.
Some key ethical principles for AI include inclusiveness, humanity, safety, accessibility, transparency, credibility, accountability, protection of personal data, sustainable development and environmental care, and intellectual property rights. By following these ethical values, AI developers can achieve three main benefits: economic sustainability, social sustainability, and environmental sustainability.
AI has the potential to drive innovation and foster economic growth. It can also help provide equal public services and improve how resources are allocated.
