El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, has been under siege for 17 months. It is one of the longest and hardest conflicts in recent history. The city is surrounded by armed forces, and people face daily shelling, hunger, and destruction. Civilians live in constant fear. Many dig trenches to protect themselves and rely on just one meal a day from community kitchens. Food is very hard to find and costs way too much. Hospitals struggle to work because they lack supplies and staff. The only way out of the city is dangerous and expensive, especially for young men, who risk being arrested or even killed. Drones and new weapons are used in El Fasher, turning it into a place where modern warfare is tested, with innocent people caught in the middle. Aid has not reached the city for more than a year, and things keep getting worse. The siege is caused by political and military goals, with outside forces making the fighting worse. El Fasher now shows the pain and fight to survive in Sudan’s war.

Almighty GOD, have mercy on the innocent people captive between the warring forces and starvation in Sudan. LORD, let the armed forces hear the noise of the great army of Heaven and leave the city free and flee for their lives, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen (The Holy Bible, 2 Kings 7:6).

Pray for the people of El-Fasher to have immediate access to all their basic needs and rights. Pray for the immediate and peaceful end of the war in Sudan (The Holy Bible, Luke 1:37).
