EGYPT: On Wednesday, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized Egypt’s strong dedication to fighting human trafficking. He described this battle as a “moral and humanitarian duty.” Madbouly explained that tackling this crime, which disrespects human dignity and endangers community safety, is not only a legal responsibility but also a commitment rooted in the values that Egypt holds dear. He pointed out that human trafficking has become one of the biggest issues the world faces today, posing a genuine threat to the lives and dreams of millions of victims around the globe. He urged everyone to work towards creating a world without human trafficking and to prioritize the needs of victims in our efforts.

  • Lord, we pray for healing, protection, and restoration for all victims of human trafficking. May they find freedom, hope, and support as they rebuild their lives, and may their stories inspire action against this injustice (The Holy Bible, Psalm 34:18).
  • Lord, we pray for leaders and organizations working to combat human trafficking. May they be endowed with wisdom, strength, and compassion in their efforts to end this crime and support those affected (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 1:17).
