EGYPT: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed that Cairo is very worried about the Israeli government’s decision to continue with a large military operation in the Gaza Strip. Egypt firmly criticized Israel for increasing its actions and occupation in both the West Bank and Gaza. It accused Israel of committing ongoing crimes against civilians and trying to force Palestinians out of their homes, stating that these actions only make the crisis worse. Cairo also mentioned that Israel’s behavior ignores efforts for mediation, a suggested ceasefire, and international appeals to stop the war and reduce the suffering of Palestinians after nearly two years of violations.
