Djibouti: The National Assembly of Djibouti has approved the Digital Code, which will reform the country’s telecommunications and digital sector. This code consolidates all regulations related to the digital sector into a single, organized framework, enhancing the accessibility, clarity, and legal certainty of digital law in Djibouti. The goal is to build public trust in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services. The implementation of the Digital Code aligns with Djibouti’s commitment to fostering its digital economy, in accordance with the digital transformation roadmap and the Djibouti Vision 2035 initiative.
- Lord, we pray that the implementation of the Digital Code will be smooth and effective, leading to improved ICT services that benefit the citizens of Djibouti. May this initiative foster innovation and create opportunities for economic growth (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 16:3).
- Lord, we pray for the establishment of trust in the digital services provided under the new code. Pray that this legislative reform promotes transparency and integrity in the ICT sector, building confidence among the public (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 11:1).
