Cambodia has urged Thailand to cooperate in fostering a climate of trust to peacefully resolve disputes and restore normalcy between the two nations. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nong Sakal reaffirmed Cambodia’s support for an ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) to monitor the ceasefire, alongside the Interim Observer Team (IOT). He emphasized joint measures for mutual benefit, including tackling cross-border crimes, advancing humanitarian mine clearance, and enhancing socio-economic development and security. Cambodia also expressed readiness to reopen border crossings, revive trade, and reaffirmed its commitment to sovereignty and territorial integrity under historic treaties and the 2000 MoU.

Abba Father, we pray for Cambodia and Thailand, that their leaders may seek peace and mutual understanding for the good of their people. May both nations uphold fairness, honor agreements, and respect sovereignty as they pursue reconciliation (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 11:3).

Heavenly Father, bless cross-border cooperation, trade, and development so that communities on both sides may live in safety and prosperity (The Holy Bible, Psalm 133:1).
