BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has strongly condemned the rape of a Hindu woman in Muradnagar, calling it a heinous and inhuman act that has deeply shocked the nation. He demanded exemplary punishment for the perpetrators, whom he described as enemies of human civilization. Fakhrul accused certain vested quarters of attempting to politicize the tragedy to divert public attention and further their own agendas. He alleged that remnants of fascist-era tactics such as land grabbing and scapegoating are still in practice, with local political figures abusing power for personal gain. Fakhrul claimed that the perpetrators are being shielded and supported by both domestic and international forces, allowing them to act with impunity. He warned that unless public officials prioritize service over self-interest, peace and social unity will continue to deteriorate. Urging citizens of all faiths and backgrounds to unite, Fakhrul called for collective resistance against criminal activities and a united effort to build a just, safe, and inclusive society.

Abba Father, we cry out for justice on behalf of the victim and her family. Bring comfort to those who mourn, and healing to the wounded. Expose the truth and let justice be served swiftly and righteously (The Bible, Psalm 9:8).

Lord, unite people of every faith and background to stand against evil and injustice. Protect the vulnerable, especially women and minorities, from violence and oppression. Strengthen leaders who seek peace and truth (The Bible, Proverbs 31:8–9).
