Alarmingly, 72% of the victims were children, and 106 cases involved gang rape. The brutality of recent incidents in areas like Muradnagar, Bhola, and Magura highlights the worsening crisis. Compounding the trauma, victims often face public shaming and vilification on social media, while political actors exploit these tragedies for gain, reflecting a deep moral and ethical breakdown in society.
Abba Father, we cry out for justice and healing for every victim of sexual violence. Protect the vulnerable, especially our children, and raise up leaders who will defend the oppressed. Let righteousness flow like a river across Bangladesh (The Bible, Psalm 72:14).
