Iran’s judiciary announced that at least 935 people mostly civilians have been killed and over 5,000 injured in Israeli airstrikes since the war began on June 13. While Israel claims the attacks aim to stop Iran’s nuclear program, no evidence from Western intelligence or the IAEA supports that Iran was pursuing nuclear weapons. Reports suggest the true objective was to destabilize Iran’s government by assassinating top officials. Early strikes killed several commanders and targeted high-level leaders, including a failed attempt on the Supreme Leader. Iranian officials were threatened to defect, but none complied. Israeli linked media ran propaganda framing the war as targeting the regime, not civilians. In one of the deadliest strikes, Israel bombed Evin Prison, killing 79 people, including women and children. So far, 102 women and 38 children have been killed, revealing the severe civilian toll.
Abba Father, we cry out for the innocent lives lost women, children, and families who had no part in war. Bring comfort to the grieving, healing to the wounded, and justice for the oppressed. May peace and mercy prevail over hatred and bloodshed (The Bible, Revelation 21:4).
Lord, expose deception and end the violence. Raise up leaders who seek peace, not power, and bring unity where there is division. Protect the innocent from unjust suffering and let Your light shine in the darkest places (The Bible, Luke 12:2-3).
